Simple Book Solutions LLC does not hold, and does not claim to hold, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA or GDPR certification or attestation. Any future certification will be documented and evidenced before it is stated anywhere on this website.

Access control

  • Access to client systems is granted only to team members assigned to that engagement.
  • We request the lowest permission level that allows the work, and read-only access where possible.
  • Access is reviewed during the engagement and revoked when the engagement ends or staffing changes.

Authentication

  • Multi-factor authentication is enabled on the systems we control that support it.
  • Shared logins are avoided; individual named accounts are used where the platform allows.
  • Credentials are stored in a password manager, never in email, spreadsheets or documents.

Data exchange and storage

  • Documents are exchanged through access-controlled cloud storage rather than unsecured email attachments.
  • Client data is kept within the accounting and storage platforms agreed in your engagement.
  • We ask clients not to send account numbers, passwords or identification documents through website forms.

Confidentiality

Every engagement is covered by a confidentiality agreement, and team members are bound by confidentiality obligations that continue after an engagement ends.

Segregation of duties

Work is prepared by one team member and reviewed by another wherever the engagement size allows. We do not require the ability to move client money; payment release stays with the client unless a separate written arrangement is made.

Incident handling

If we become aware of unauthorised access affecting your data, we will notify you promptly, describe what we know, and work with you on containment and any notifications required by law. [Add your formal incident response timeline and named contact before publishing.]
