Healthcare bookkeeping & accounting

Clinics and practices balancing insurance remittances, payroll and equipment financing.

Overview

How we keep healthcare books accurate

Practice revenue arrives in pieces: patient payments, insurance remittances that net out adjustments, and deposits that rarely match a single claim. Without a consistent reconciliation routine, the books show cash received but not what the practice actually earned or is still owed.

We reconcile deposits to remittance reports, keep provider payroll and equipment financing recorded correctly, and report results by location or provider where you need it.

Where the books usually break

  • Insurance deposits that do not tie to individual claims or remittance reports
  • Contractual adjustments and write-offs recorded inconsistently
  • Equipment loans and leases booked as expenses instead of liabilities
  • No view of performance by location or provider

What we typically handle

  • Remittance reconciliation
  • Provider payroll support
  • Practice-level reporting

FAQs

Healthcare questions

Do you need access to patient records?
No. We work from financial records such as deposits, remittance summaries and payroll reports. We ask clients not to share patient health information, and our Data Security Statement describes how financial data is handled.
Are you HIPAA certified?
No. We do not hold or claim HIPAA certification, and our engagements are structured so we do not need access to protected health information.
Can you report by location or provider?
Yes. We set up tracking categories so revenue and costs can be reported by location or provider in the monthly pack.
